Blanking
Metal stamping is a complex operation that requires extreme knowledge of metals. It is a process that can be performed on any type of sheet metal using tools such as punches and dies.
W-A progettazioni s.r.l., with its experience in sheet metal working, possesses the ideal knowledge to be able to shear or separate metals depending on the requirements or the most diverse materials. In fact, we carry out shearing on various types of metals such as: copper, brass, iron and also on special alloys.
Our operating department is highly specialised and constantly trained for these types of operations, which are useful for the production of our products, which is the main reason why our products have always been top of the range.
Moulding
Our team of technicians specialised in the design and construction of moulds allows us to carry out all sheet metal stamping operations in our workshop, thus enabling us to carry out immediate quality and, above all, customised work.
In fact, customisation is one of W-A progettazione s.r.l.’s strengths. In order to achieve these results, we make use not only of our professionalism, but also of a fleet of state-of-the-art equipment and machines, which is essential to help both our technicians in their work and to satisfy our customers’ needs. No less important is W-A progettazione s.r.l.’s high level of company computerisation, which is necessary in order to keep up with the times, but above all to be able to meet the needs of our customers.
Sheet metal drawing
W-A progettazioni s.r.l. also handles sheet metal forming. Using precise and reliable procedures, we deform metal sheets into different shapes such as cylindrical, cup-shaped or oval.
The deep-drawing process we carry out is a cold deformation process, which enables us to produce metal components such as hemispherical caps suitable for the manifolds of our radiators.
The process of drawing metal on flat sheets begins with the creation of the specific mould. Then the sheet metal is sensitively and precisely deformed in order to obtain the required shape without leaving any traces of machining such as wrinkles, so that a lively and smooth shape is achieved. We perform deep-drawing work on iron, brass, aluminium and copper.
Naturally, the moulds used for deep-drawing are created in the W-A progettazioni s.r.l. workshop. This allows us to always guarantee the high standard of our products and to be able to meet customised customer requests.
